Chief’s Office

Chief Timothy Fox officially assumed the role of Chief of Police and Associate Vice President at Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå State University on July 1, 2025. A proud graduate of Âé¶¹´«Ã½¸ßÇå State University, Chief Fox has served the University community for over two decades, beginning his career in 2004 and rising through every rank of the department.

Throughout his tenure, Chief Fox has played a key role in strengthening campus safety, improving departmental operations, and building strong relationships with students, faculty, and staff. His leadership is rooted in accountability, professionalism, and a strong sense of service to the community.

Chief Fox is a graduate of the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP) / West Point Command and Leadership Academy and the FBI’s Mid-Atlantic Law Enforcement Executive Development Seminar (MALEEDS). He remains committed to preparing the department to meet both current and future challenges in campus law enforcement through strategic planning, officer development, and community engagement.

He is extremely proud to work alongside a diverse group of professionals and students in police, dispatch, EMS, and Emergency Management who have chosen a service-oriented path here at our home on campus.
